Everyone has their own favourite blogs. I read quite a few, so I thought I’d share a few of them here over the coming weeks. I won’t bombard you with a long list, just a couple at a time… and in no particular order.

First up I’ll share Valerie Jardin’s blog. Valerie is a wonderful street photographer and teacher. She see’s the extra-ordinary in the ordinary. Her images always have something to say. Her “Beautiful Smiles” series is a favourite of mine.

You can read Valerie’s blog at http://valeriejardin.wordpress.com

Photofocus is another blog I read. They post frequently and usually have articles well worth a look. They cover a wide range of photographic genres, as well as equipment and techniques.

You can read the Photofocus blog at http://www.photofocus.com

Hope you enjoy reading them as much as I do!

Photography is about vision; I love making photographs that tell a location’s story – the place, the people and the culture. I'm a photographer with a relaxed approach. I'm an experienced traveller and love teaching others about photography. Images can be made anywhere - right in your back yard or in exotic overseas locations. I can teach you not only to look at your surroundings, but also to really "see" what's there. Photography is more than just pressing a button. It's also about vision. Let me show you how to look, see and capture your world.
